Description
A classic 4 input style guitar preamp pedal with huge versatility.
What is it?
A 4 input analogue guitar preamp pedal inspired by the ultimate classic.
How does it sound?
This preamp delivers the classic Tweed Fender Bassman tones, as well as the sounds of the early Marshall 4 input amplifiers. If you’re looking for vintage style medium-gain tones with high dynamic range, fat lows, punchy mids, and chiming highs, the Pre-historic can do it all. You can sweep effortlessly from sparkling cleans to tube-amp overdrive, all with incredible responsiveness to your playing dynamics.
Unique features
The Pre-historic is unlike any other preamp pedal. It utilises the same 4 input wiring as found in the early Fender and Marshall designs, allowing you to connect up to 4 different sources and mix them to one output. You can even patch the 2 channels together, as per the original amplifiers, to create that huge overdriven tone that you simply cannot achieve any other way.
Applications
If you’re lusting after the sounds of the classic Tweed Fender Bassman and early Marshall amplifiers, or require those sounds for fly-gigs, this is the perfect solution.
