Loop Switchers
A Signal Loop is where individually bypass-able loops are connected in series between your guitar and the input of your amp, as shown in the One Control Agamidae Tail Loop diagram below.

A Separate Signal Loop is an additional signal path to use pedals in your amp’s FX Loop, so modulation, delay and reverb etc are placed after the pre-amp section (distortion channel) of your amp. The One Control Chamaeleo Tail Loop MKII diagram below demonstrates this.

In the Carl Martin Octa-Switch MK3 diagram below, Loop 5 is being used as an Insert Loop for the amp’s preamp (but any loop # can be used). This means some pedals are in front of the amp, and some pedals are in the amp’s FX Loop.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the Insert Loop (eg. Loop 5) is always enabled on your presets to keep your amp’s preamp in the overall signal chain.

A Remote Trigger allows footswitchable control of amp channels etc, as demonstrated in the One Control Chamaeleo Tail Loop MKII diagram below.
