PVRIS (pronounced Paris) formed in Lowell, Massachusetts. After signing with metalcore label, Rise Records, they became the first female-fronted act to appear on the Rise artist roster.
Their debut album, White Noise (2014), joins electronica with dark, beat-heavy rock to make one hauntingly catchy record. With standout tracks such as ‘My House’, ‘Fire’ and ‘St. Patrick’ there is something refreshing and addictive about PVRIS.
Ranging from angelic to gritty, Lynn Gunn’s vocals feel effortless. As a result, Lynn is the best female vocalist I’ve heard since the likes of Amy Lee and Hayley Williams. Not because they sound alike, but because Lynn’s voice is phenomenal in its own right. Which will consequently make Lynn Gunn a household name.
